When Nature Presses the Shutter

When Nature Presses the Shutter

I was recently a guest on the photography podcast weekly52, in conversation with host Thomas Füngerlings and fellow artist Amélie M. Walter. We talked about cameraless photography — cyanotypes, lumen prints and the climate-adapted, experimental processes at the heart of my practice, where sunlight, seawater, salt, plant matter and time do the work usually left to a lens. The episode also touches on sustainability, the idea of the print as a living, still-changing surface, and how letting go of control can open up new creative ground.

The conversation is in German, with an English summary on the episode page. You can watch or listen on YouTube.
