I’m honoured to share that I’ve been selected for the Peter E. Palmquist Memorial Fund for Historical Photographic Research supported by the Humboldt Area Foundation.
This support allows me to continue my research across the Atlantic, building on work I began with the Paul Mellon Centre in London, where I explored Anna Atkins holdings in the UK. I will now extend this inquiry to the New York Public Library, deepening a trans-Atlantic dialogue around Atkins’ legacy.
Through this project, I aim to connect archives and curatorial practices, forging new synergies in response to urgent environmental challenges. Anna Atkins’ cyanotypes offer not only a historical contribution, but a way of seeing, caring, and sharing knowledge through photographic processes.
Looking forward to continuing this conversation.
