Featured in Aesthetica: Top Artists at Photoworks Festival 2026

I'm delighted that Aesthetica magazine has included me in its round-up of top artists to see at this year's Photoworks Festival in Brighton and Hove. It's a real honour to be featured alongside Anie Maki, Alma Haser, Daniele Cimaglia and Giuseppe Odore, and Debmalya Ray Choudhuri.

For the festival, I'm presenting a dual exhibition at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. The show brings two bodies of work together, both made with ecologically sustainable cameraless processes and both treating the photograph as a fragile record of environmental change. Coastlines, vulnerable plant life, and unsettled landscapes meet in the gallery as an island-like installation, shaped by erosion, weather, water, and time. The work focuses on places marked by human activity, and it uses alternative photographic processes as a way of reflecting critically on the carbon footprint of our everyday lives, including the making of images themselves.

This year's festival theme, Un/Stable: Lands, Anxieties, Dreams, explores how identity, place, memory, community, and the environment are bound up with one another, and how we might imagine hopeful futures in uncertain times. I'm very proud for my work to be part of that conversation.

Photoworks Festival opens on 2 October 2026 at venues across Brighton. You can read the full Aesthetica feature here.
